每年到高考时，考场外的“旗袍战队”成了一道独特的风景线。全国各地的妈妈们，不约而同地穿上寓意旗开得胜的旗袍，为孩子加油鼓劲。众所周知，高考时穿旗袍跟中国的一个成语“旗开得胜”有很重要的关系，今天我们就一起看一看，“旗开得胜”的用英语怎么表达吧！
旗开得胜，意思是刚一打开旗帜进入战斗，就取得了胜利。比喻事情刚一开始，就取得好成绩。出自《射柳捶丸》。
Qi, means “flag. It’s the first character in an idiom that literally means “to win victory upon raising the flag,” and which has been appropriated to wish students sweeping success on their exams. 旗袍的旗是旗帜的旗，是中国的成语旗开得胜的第一个字，意思旗子一升起胜利了，寓意考生大获全胜。
那么“旗开得胜”的该如何用英语表达呢？其实在英语中有一个类似的习语能够表达这个意思，就是get off to a good/ flying start

get off to a good/ flying start 中文意思是“开门红，顺利开始，有一个好的开端，” （to begin an activity successfully）
